This room was designed to be a state room in which to hold celebrations. The vault was divided into large painted sections while at the centre we find the coat of arms of the Pianetti family, with a two-headed eagle and a lion’s head sticking out its tongue. Every one of the vault’s segments contains medallions depicting marine and lagoon environments lying between two female figures. The walls were entirely covered by pink flower-decorated wallpaper, a little fragment of which still remains in the bottom left-hand corner.
