The Marquess’s bathroom features decorations with architectural patterns in Pompeian red. The niche, typical of thermal baths, and the Venus emerging from the water that is painted on the ceiling, leads us to assume the presence of a bathtub. The cotto floor tiles are discoloured in one area, possibly indicating where the bathtub was once situated.
